Milton Bullock - formally of the Platters |
|

The Platters were formed in the 50’s and had numerous member changes during that period, Though widely known for their early hits, the group continued its successful recording career years after, and Milton Bullock was fortunate to be a big part of that era. Milton was asked to join the Platters in 1964 by Herb Reed. With Milton’s talent, he helped the Platters continued to stay on the charts and in the hearts of America. The Platters disbanded in 1969, and several members went on to have solo careers - but ONLY Milton Bullock can be called "The Golden Platter".
When the Platters decided to disband, Milton continued his work in the music and film industry. You may have seen him in roles in such films as "Home Alone 2" and "Prelude to a Kiss", among others. Presently, he is performing solo as "The Golden Platter", wowing audiences young and old with his sensational voice. In addition, he produces his internationally famous musical showcase "Back Down Memory Lane".
Though most people are familiar with Milton Bullock's entertainment credentials, what he is most proud of is his work with kids. His organization "Do It For The Kids/Children Foundation" is committed to the welfare of America's at-risk youth. He has been able to use his celebrity status to motivate young people as well as to bring other celebrities into the act of giving troubled kids an inspiration to succeed.
In addition to his work with youth, Milton spends a great deal of effort making life better for the elderly. He devotes a lot of his time during the year appearing at nursing homes and hospitals using his gift to put a smile on many older faces. The voice of “The Golden Platter” takes audiences from all ages and transports them to a magical time when life was simple and romance was alive.
